We offer a wide selection of new releases, as well as a library of older wines for your enjoyment. A designated Historic Landmark, our shaded picnic grounds are a favorite Wine Country spot.
Explore music’s power to enhance the enjoyment of fine wine. Taste for yourself the incredible flavor variations that occur alongside different musical accompaniments paired specifically to Buena Vista wines while tasting in California’s oldest historic wine caves. Enjoy arrangements by Mozart, Vivaldi, Chopin, Beethoven and more! Compare your tasting experience with your friends – you’ll be amazed by how each musical composition dramatically affects the flavors of each wine. Whether an apprentice or a maestro you’re sure to never forget this one-of-a-kind tasting experience!
Each ‘Wine and Music Wine Tasting Experience’ is $75.00 per person to enjoy the music as a previously recorded performance or $125.00 per person for those interested in a live performance by Steel and Ivory. Each live performance will occur the last weekend of every month beginning July 29, 30 and 31st at 1:00 pm. There is a minimum of four guests per reservation with a maximum of eight people and each experience is approximately 90 minutes in length. Each tasting experience will by accompanied by four to five of Buena Vista’s finest wines.

Join us for a unique experience where you will be guided through a twenty minute light, sound and visual show, presenting the history of winemaking through its tools and the life of the vivacious and eccentric founder, the self-proclaimed “Count of Buena Vista.” While enjoying this historic tour, you will be invited to taste exclusive current release wines and explore the recently renovated property and Champagne Cellars.

Explore the delights of our historic property! Your tour will begin with a stroll through our beautiful grounds, followed by a journey through our newly renovated Champagne Cellar. We will take you from 1857 to the present while you enjoy a flight of Buena Vista current release wines. Next you will step into the caves of Buena Vista to sample wine thieved directly from a barrel!

Would you like to be The Count or Countess? Join Buena Vista for our Winemaker for a Day: ‘Be the Count’ experience and you will have that chance! During this once in a century session, you will be guided through the art of blending by one of our knowledgeable wine educators. Enter our beautiful Cave of Curiosity to create your own personalized bottle of red wine that the Count himself would envy. You will have the opportunity to create three different blends, select your favorite, and then bottle your wine with your own customized label. Design your own label and leave with a newly branded wine tailored to your masterful palate. If one bottle isn’t enough, you are welcome to order additional bottles of your distinct blend to enjoy with your family and friends!
