When the forest and vine collide great things happen. Oak barrels have been used as a tool in winemaking for centuries, beginning at first as a versatile vessel and now as a flavor enhancer. Tasting wine straight from the barrel while it mellows into something delicious is something generally reserved for VIPs at wineries. But we’re offering up this experience to everyone, to show off our recently renovated, historical caves. Taste wines from the barrel then enjoy finished wines to witness the wines evolution from the barrel to the bottle.
$30 per person, the Barrel Tour and Tasting is available daily at 11am and 2pm, the tour and tasting lasts about 1 hour. Reservations are required 48 hours in advance.
Picnicking at historic Buena Vista has long been a favorite for many guests, and we now offer a Picnic Hamper from a fine local food purveyor filled with delectable delights! Available daily between 11am – 3pm, we are offering two options:
The Count’s Hamper
For two: rustic sandwich, salad, assorted sweet delights.
The JCB French Hamper
For two: assorted Artisan cheeses, Charcuterie, Thai chicken salad, baguette half, assorted sweet delights.

Guided by a Buena Vista historic figure, journey back in time as we tell the amazing life story of the Count of Buena Vista and his historic winery; while tasting exclusive current release wines, and exploring the recently renovated property and Champagne Cellars.
$20 per person, this experience is available Saturdays at 10am and 1pm. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance.
This is a special non-wine tour we don’t charge kids to experience. Upon arrival you will only be charged for the number of adults in your group. Journey back to 1863 with us and have fun exploring our historic property while hearing the story of Buena Vista!
